If you are coming to study at a university or college in Norwich we want you to feel welcome and included in the Gateway Vineyard family.

Thanks for dropping by. Here you’ll find information about regular student events, mid-week groups and our Sunday night student and young adult service. As you look to settle in Norwich here are a few things that might help you decide if Gateway Vineyard is a church you’d like to call home:

Whether you’re coming back to Norwich or looking for a new church as you move to this fine city we’d love to invite you to a Welcome Zoom. Head to for more details.

The best way to meet people is to join a life group. There are student life groups that meet throughout the week near to the UEA and NUA (online at the moment). If you would like to get involved please contact our Student Pastor, Lauren, at:

Gateway Vineyard is part of the Fusion Church Connection and is committed to supporting and equipping students. Through partnering with Fusion, we want to train and equip students for a life of adventure with Jesus.

We’ll be having some student and young adult evening services on Sunday 24th October, Sunday 7th November, Sunday 21st November and Sunday 5th December. It’s a great opportunity to bring your course/flat mates along. Sign up for these services on

We’ve just relaunched our in-person gatherings as of Sunday 19th September, and we’d love you to join us. For the first few weeks, we’re operating a booking system which goes live each Sunday for the following Sunday’s service. Use the link to book.

Free Taxis – During term time there are free taxis from the LCR, on the UEA campus, to Norwich High School For Girls, Newmarket Road (for our morning service). The taxis do a return journey after the service. Please let us know if you would like a taxi on the Facebook page the night before.

Buses – From UEA, catch the 25 bus, get off on Unthank Road by the Eaton Cottage Pub, walk along Mount Pleasant, turn right onto Albemarle Road and enter Norwich High School For Girls at the end of the road.

From the City Centre catch any of the number 11, 13, 14 or 15 buses towards Cringleford or Eaton (ask for Newmarket road to be sure). Get off at the bus stop opposite Albemarle Road and enter the school on Newmarket Road.

Normally on Sunday mornings we gather in the cafe from 10am and catch up on the week over a coffee and pastry. We’ve not yet restarted this but hope to do so soon. Watch this space!
